Commissioners Meeting

📢 Commissioners’ Meetings: A New Location Proposal! 🏛️

To make Commissioners’ Meetings more accessible to all our community members—whoever is elected this Thursday—I suggest holding the meetings at the Heritage Centre in Foxdale on an alternate monthly basis.

This adjustment aims to bring the meetings closer to residents across the area, encouraging greater participation and engagement in local affairs.

I value your thoughts and would love to hear your feedback on this proposal! Please share your opinions or suggestions in the comments below. Let’s work together to build a more connected and inclusive community.

Investing in life, health, and what matters most

The concept of “slow hunches” emphasizes the importance of gradual, deliberate thinking in decision-making. It suggests that great ideas and solutions often emerge over time, rather than through instant inspiration. This approach encourages patience and reflection, allowing connections between seemingly unrelated thoughts to form naturally.

For example, Daniel Kahneman’s book Thinking, Fast and Slow explores two modes of thinking: System 1, which is fast and intuitive, and System 2, which is slow and deliberate2. Slow hunches align with System 2 thinking, where careful consideration leads to more informed and effective decisions.

By investing in life, health, and meaningful priorities, applying the dynamics of slow hunches can help you focus on long-term goals and make thoughtful choices. Let me know if you’d like to explore this concept further!
